A Spectacular Program Honoring the Musical Traditions of Saudi Arabia and Japan
On November 22, a performance featuring the “Marvels of Saudi Orchestra,” Tokyo College of Music, Tomoyasu Hotei, Gagaku, and more will take place at Tokyo Opera City.
The Marvels of Saudi Orchestra, under the Saudi Ministry of Culture’s Music Commission, is a project where the Saudi National Orchestra and Choir collaborate with prominent orchestras around the globe.
They previously performed at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, the National Auditorium in Mexico City, the Metropolitan Opera House in New York and Central Hall Westminster in London. The Tokyo concert is their first and only performance in Asia. It promises to be a spectacular program honoring the musical traditions of both Saudi Arabia and Japan.
