Feel the magical charm of rustic Italy here in Tokyo at Magicamente, your home for fine, authentic Italian pasta and succulent wood-fire grilled meats. A short walk from Ebisu Station, Magicamente combines the warmth and comfort of a family-run Italian restaurant with astounding locally-sourced ingredients and Japanese culinary craftsmanship. Chef Takayuki Sato traveled to Italy’s most famed culinary regions to learn the art of handmade pasta. In the quaint village of Varese Ligure, Sato perfected the sand dollar-shaped delicacy liguria croxetti. In Orvieto, deep in the heart of Umbria, he was taken under the wing of the masters at Ristorante da Gregoria. Meanwhile the mouthwatering wild boar shoulder, sourced from the Northern Alps of Nagano Prefecture, is grilled to absolute perfection. Open Tuesday–Sunday from 18:00–22:30 (last order 20:30) and for lunch on Wednesday (12:00–15:00; last order 13:00), Magicamente is ideal for a nice family meal, impressing colleagues or a romantic date night.
How Much: Courses range from ¥4,800–7,800 (Wednesday lunch course ¥3,800)
