Looking for a fun way to burn some calories during the holidays?
Until January 5, Tokyo Tower offers daily climbs for anyone who’s up for climbing the 600 steps of Tokyo Tower. It seems like a lot, but according to the official Tokyo Tower website, young children can complete the task in 15 minutes. Midway through the climb, there’s even a calorie counter so you can find out if you burned off some of your holiday indulging.
The Tokyo Tower website also advises to dress warmly, as it gets quite cold at the top. We suggest comfortable shoes and a camera to experience this Tokyo landmark from a completely different angle. Now, you don’t have to feel guilty about all those extra calories . . .
