The laid back melodies of big bands, quartets, and soloists from across the world will fill the Tokyo International Forum during its annual jazz festival. Join foot-tapping audiences for a lunchtime or evening concert, or treat your ears with a one-day pass. Each day has its own theme, including Gala Night, Groove, Jazz is Beautiful, Jazz Heritage, and Legends of Funk, Blues and Jazz. Highlights of the 2009 lineup include Akiko Yano & Hiromi, John Scofield & the Piety Street Band, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, Lou Donaldson, and the McCoy Tyner Trio.
