This year marks the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. In commemoration of this event, this exhibition showcases a total of 120 exquisite paintings and crafts associated with the Habsburg Monarchy from the collections of the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna (Austria) and the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts (Hungary).
