Super Yosakoi 2009 (folk dancing festival), similar to that of Kochi in Shikoku Island, involves about 2,300 people from all over Japan on Harajuku-Omotesando (street), in the precincts of Meiji-Jingu, at Event Square in Yoyogi Park, and on Keyaki-Namiki-dori Ave. in front of NHK.
The festival is held, regardless of the weather, from 12 noon to 8 p.m. on the 29th, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the 30th.
