Dean & Deluca, the store that offers epicurean treats for cooking, eating and entertainment from around the globe, is currently holding its fourth biannual pottery exhibition at its Roppongi and Fukuoka locations.
At the exhibitions, pottery from around the country is not only displayed, it’s also available for purchase. Starting this year, the pieces can even be purchased online. The collection features 20 talented potters selected with co-operation of Tomoo Shoken from Utsuwa Shoken in Kamakura. Exhibited potters include Koreya Anan, Shingo Arakawa, Atsushi Ogata, Syohei Ono and more.
During the period, two special events are set to take place. Dean & Deluca’s The Artisan Table in Akasaka will host a Sunday branch served on pottery pieces by Naotsugu Yoshida on September 23. Dinner by Ryota Ueshima, a Michelin-starred chef, using pieces from the exhibition, will be held on October 9 at the Fukuoka location.
