Popular Kamakura-based restaurant and cafe Garden House is set to open a new location in Marunouchi.
The new branch, called Garden House Cafe, is set to open August 30, and will be located in Gransta Marunouchi, the shopping complex attached to Tokyo Station.
Garden House Cafe offers both an eat-in cafe space, featuring its popular salads, deli, sandwiches and soups, and a take-out bakery, with fresh bread baked by both its sister shop, Garden House Crafts, and other fine bakeries all over Tokyo.
The spacious cafe area features Wi-Fi and 60 seats, and is open from 7am to 10pm all year around. To celebrate its opening, Garden House Cafe is offering up limited-time breads made in collaboration with partner bakers.
Garden House, which opened in Kamakura in 2012 and has branches in Daikanyama and Shinjuku, is known for its focus on seasonal ingredients and healthy homemade dishes. They also carry a large selection of domestic craft beer and organic wines.
