Tour de France viewing was never so spectacular. (Well, unless you could make it to the race itself and sit on top of a wind turbine like these guys.)
The 52nd floor Tokyo City View bar inside the Roppongi Hills building is hosting nightly viewings of the race – extended until midnight to combat the time-difference, perhaps the ideal hour to sip some “specially created” cocktails…?
If the racing doesn’t take your fancy, or if you are dragged along by someone, you will most certainly have something to look at – the bar offers an almost 360 degree view of the Tokyo skyline… Maybe we’re biased but surely there aren’t many better night-time city views in the world?
Cycling is “booming” in Japan, to use a phrase as tired as Bradley Wiggins’ legs (or Lance Armstrong‘s excuses [allegedly…]) and you’ll probably encounter some serious fans should you head along. Why not, eh?
