If you’re itching for an early start to the cherry blossom season, there’s still time to catch Naked Inc.’s “Flowers by Naked 2018 Rondo,” a combination of high-tech projection mapping and traditional arts.
The event combines the futuristic display of flowers with performances of kyogen, a classic form of comic theatre, ikebana flower arranging, and a recital featuring the shinobue, a traditional Japanese flute.
Last year, Flowers by Naked brought in over 250,000 visitors. Its theme is “the earliest cherry blossom in Japan” and fuses flowers, dance and music to envelop guests a fantastical world of flowers.
It may be cold outside, but this event’s dance, music and projection mapping create the feeling of spring.
