A long weekend is a great excuse for an all-nighter, and Saturday combines veteran DJ Dave Clarke along with local DJs and special guest Angel Alanis from Chicago.
Dave Clarke has been dubbed the Baron of Techno, due to his mega star DJ status a little over a decade ago. He has remixed the Chemical Brothers, Leftfield, Fischerspooner and Depeche Mode, and is considered one of the innovators of the techno genre. Clarke may not be at the peak of his stardom days anymore, but he still manages to fill venues to the brim, and his live sets are rarely disappointing. He performed twice last year in Vision’s Alien Radio events, and both times were monumental.
He returns to Tokyo for the first time this year, once again showing he’s at the top of his game, with Groove Patrol and American DJ Angel Alanis tagging along. Pole dancing performances by Japan Pole Dance troupe will offer some distraction from the turntables, and as usual all rooms will be filled with DJs.
