Kameido Tenjin Taisai or Annual Summer Festival of Kameido Tenjin, Koto-ku, features 1,100 Kentomyo (lighted lanterns) in the precincts which are lit up starting from 7 p.m. on the 25th.
The festival is rather small in scale this year. On the 23rd, prior to the festival period, Takigi-kagura (torch-lighted Shinto dancing) with music is performed in the precincts of the shrine from 7 p.m.
