Drum Tao is a group of Japanese drum performers who have performed in 500 cities in 26 countries around the globe, attracting over eight million spectators. The group will perform “Rhythm of Tribe – Jiku Ryokoki – Final” on February 6, 7 and 8 at Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Shibuya.
“Rhythm of Tribe – Jiku Ryokoki – Final” centers around a journey taken by the soul of the samurai through time and space. Drum Tao uses a fusion of traditional Japanese arts and instruments, including shinobue, shamisen and koto, with the latest technology to overwhelm the imaginations of its viewers. The group’s current tour began in Oita in May 2018, and has run for some 125 performances to date. February’s shows in Tokyo will serve as the capstone for the tour.
