Global-Dining Inc., which operates several eateries around Tokyo, has introduced sushi rolls that use cauliflower-based rice at Gonpachi Nori-Temaki Harajuku.
According to Global-Dining, this is the first restaurant in Japan to offer rolled sushi that uses cauliflower rice. Adding the special rice to your sushi costs just an extra 50 yen.
Perfect for those on low-carb diets, or anyone looking for a healthier option, cauliflower rice is rich in vitamins B and C, potassium and dietary fiber. Its carbohydrate count is about 1/20 that of regular rice. Plus, many customers prefer cauliflower rice over regular sushi rice due to its crisp texture.
Head to Gonpachi Nori-Temaki Harajuku for some guilt-free cauliflower rice sushi rolls!
