From July 2 to 31, head to Westin Tokyo Hotel to feast on the hotel’s Cheese Dessert Buffet, a yearly event that brings in cheese fans from around the city.
The buffet features dishes based on six types of cheese, including mascarpone, camembert, mozzarella, and blue. The main offerings are the hotel’s classic cheesecakes, which combine the richness of cheese with a fluffy sweetness. Especially popular is the Camembert Cheese Dome, in which camembert is blended into a sweet mousse with fresh cream.
Also on offer this year are brand-new creations like the Gorgonzola and Red Berry Cheese Cream, which perfectly blends gorgonzola’s unique aroma and salty flavor with the rich fruit flavor of red berry. Another new sweet is Mozzarella Cheese with Lime and Pineapple Jelly, which complements its sweetness with a refreshing sour flavor perfect for summer.
