Choco Run – A Race for Chocoholics
Starting in 2013, runners in Japan have enjoyed a special event that allows them to indulge while they work off their calories. On February 24 in Yokohama, runners looking for a chocolate fix will find all they need and more at this one-of-a-kind race. This year there will be more than 50 different types of chocolate, cookies, and other sweets, as well as attractive male models who will feed you chocolate at the end goal. Now that’s something to run for!
There is a voluntary dress code of red — either coordinate some red into your outfit or go all out for a free drink coupon. Pose with friends and family for photos at designated photo spots to get even more into it. There are multiple courses: 2km, 4km, and 10km, and many events around the area don’t involve running, so the whole family can get involved.
