Halloween has caught on in a big way in recent years in Japan, and this year, Roppongi is planning a two-kilometer parade that’s predicted to attract over 100,000 visitors.
The October 22 Halloween celebration, called Roppongi Halloween Jumbo (or Rokuhallo for short), will be jointly hosted by the Roppongi Shopping Street Promotion Association and Minato Ward, bringing together the entire community.
The parade, the heart of the event, will be made up of 1,500 participants, including professional dancers and popular DJs.
The event also includes a special bar ticket which allows you to grab a snack and drink at participating locations.
Finally, Halloween-themed garbage bags will be distributed to make clean-up fun.
