After a long and hard year of work, Japanese people really know how to spend a completely relaxing holiday. Oedo Onsen Monogatari – a spacious onsen theme park located in Odaiba – teams up with visual arts creative team Naked to offer a healing and dreamy experience.
Ashiyu is a type of onsen where you sit down to bathe your feet – usually up to knee length deep. It doesn’t require quite the same commitment as a full hot spring bath, but its healing effects are well known
From November 26 to February 28, the ashiyu section of the massive onsen facility – inspired by the design of a traditional Japanese garden – will be swept up in the magic of lights in the “Fireworks by Naked – Oedo Onsen Monogatari Flower Party.”
For visitors, it will be a bit like dipping their feet into a warm pool of reflecting, sparkling kaleidoscopic fireworks. Check out the Oedo Onsen Monogatari’s ashiyu area for a relaxing, but also extraordinary experience – who says we need to look “up” to enjoy fireworks?
