Following their celebration of the successful Olympic bid with “Welcome to Tokyo,” the innovative dance and music team is back with a more somber mood to close the year.
Taking off from the earlier video, “Last Dance” opens close to Tokyo Station, but passes by government buildings, an anti-nuclear tent, and outside of Tokyo—Mt. Fuji and the Fukushima plant stand as backdrops for the group’s signature choreography.
Despite the darker mood, there are still plenty of great moves, and passers-by who still don’t know exactly how to behave around Genki Sudo and his team of synchronized dancers in sharp suits. You can see their video below, and die hard fans, get ready: they’re heading out on tour in the new year, with two shows at Zepp DiverCity on January 29 and 30.
