The star of Big Beach Festival 2011, Fatboy Slim (Norman Cook) recently announced the news in a special Youtube broadcast to Japan.
“Sadly me and Carl can’t make it this year,” Cook said.
“This year I’m sending friends of mine to replace me… my good friends, my brothers, the Chemical Brothers.”
The annual beach festival near Chiba’s Makuhari Messe, is seen by many as the first big festival of Japan’s summer season and attracts thousands of dance music fans each year.
